Bell Work: Welcome to Day 2 of Citizenship! Let's kick off today's lesson with our 4th and final set of definitions and pyramid! In your Vocabulary section of your binder add the word and definition for: *Responsibilities-duties a citizen has to other people, the government, or to society. Then move on to Task I with your shoulder partner...if you filled out a tech survey you may follow directions for today on your phone/ device with your partner. If I have your tech survey you received your name tag today :) Task I: In your notes section draw your 4th pyramid (same as you did for the Levels of Citizenship, Rights, and Sources of Rights & Responsibilities pyramids). This one you will title "Responsibilities" . See Example Below... Discuss with your group why you believe these responsibilities are important. * You will want to make a special note that city rules/ responsibilities are called ordinances* |
