Today, we are going to slow our pace a bit so you have some time to digest what we have learned this week over the weekend. We'll review the Bill of Rights (1st Ten Amendments) and additional Amendments we have learned thus far. Remember, if you ever are confused about exactly what you should know, check against your Scales. ---------> |

Task I: All Write Round Robin!
Your group will have 5 minutes to all write as many rights that you obtain from the 13 Amendments you have learned about this week.(i.e. the right of Free Speech, etc.). Be ready for Mrs. Furgi to start the timer. Remember we are ALL Writing beginning with #1 in your groups.

Task II: We will read "Life Without the Bill of Rights"
Task III: What would your life be like without the Bill of Rights and Additional Amendments?
Many of you ask throughout the year "Why you need to learn this..." - this is a question I want you to ask yourself in each day and really think about how what we're learning effects your everyday life. Today you will be asking yourself what your life would be like without the Bill of Rights and other Amendments we have learned about. Take the remainder of class to write a journal entry describing your day without the rights these amendments provide to you. Be careful and thorough in your response!
