Task I: Group read pgs. 185 to 189
- As you read, create a chart like the one on the bottom of pg. 185 (to Summarize each "Civil War Amendments #13-15) and stop after each paragraph to verbally Summarize what was just read. Create a Similar Chart for the "Voting Rights Amendments" (Amendments 19, 24, & 26). The only written summarizes you need are for each Amendment in the charts you are creating- you do not need to summarize each paragraph :)
- Also, if you come across words you do not know, it will be your responsibility to Clarify these words (I encourage you to add them to your vocabulary tab
- In your Journal, complete Questions # 1-5 on pg. 189 in complete sentences

Bell Work: Take out your homework (Chapter 6, Lesson 3) and open it up on your desk. You may take a moment to work on your essay (I will begin reading them today after school) and to complete questions #1-4 on pg 189 (began yesterday in our summarize and clarify practice activity).
