In August you looked at Mrs. Furgi like she was crazy when she told you the year would fly by... now do you believe me?! Only 9 more weeks until you're officially 8th graders! Time to make every second count. It's going to be 9 weeks of hard work and dedication- but you have gotten very good at both of those. Don't give up on me now- it's time to gear up and be prepared to have fun and show that E.O.C. what you're made of! Bell Work: Take out your journals and title a new entry with today's date and the title: Quarter 4! I want you to take 5 minutes to tell me about some of the goals you have for this quarter, some items you would like to improve in the class (this is a democracy after all!) and finally some fun facts about your Spring Break! |

Task III. Ch. 12 Predictions
This is actually one of my favorite units to teach all year! It's full of fun real world examples and interesting awe inducing sources from throughout history. Before we kick that off this week I want you to make some predictions! Using Chapter 12. in your book, fill out the following graph in your notes section of your binder/ notebook (don't forget to label and date all of your entries!). If I were you I would fold a page so you know where Quarter 4 begins! ;)
